Ranger is proud to acknowledge the outstanding performance of Wireline Engineer Tim Kautt and Wireline Lead Operator Robert Price, who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and skills during Q3, which earned them an Alpha Award.
The duo’s joint efforts with Ranger P&A on the Bloedel-Ruddock #1 CM10 well in Washington State for Oxy was nothing short of remarkable, showcasing their commitment to excellence in their roles.
Despite facing numerous logistical challenges and being stationed 1,200 miles away from their home district, they rose to the occasion and exceeded expectations. Their ability to organize multiple trips to and from the work location, along with meticulous planning, ensured that the project ran smoothly and efficiently.
One of the most impressive aspects of Kautt’s and Price’s performance was their willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. They often worked through scheduled time off, showcasing their dedication and work ethic. This level of commitment not only helped streamline the process but also alleviated any potential burdens that could have arisen due to the complexity of the project.
They also ensured that they had all the necessary tools and components to complete the job, even while operating from P&A equipment. Their ability to think on their feet and adapt to changing circumstances played a crucial role in the success of the project.
