Ranger Energy Services, Inc. was announced as a finalist in the Oilfield Services Category for its acquisition of the Basic Energy Services assets by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Houston Fifth Annual Deal of the Year Awards on March 31, 2022.
This event is focused on celebrating Houston’s booming middle-market deal community – honoring the deals and dealmakers who drive middle market growth – resulting in job growth, capital formation and the advancement of meaningful business relationships.
The nomination criteria included transaction value, industry focus, type of transaction, and what makes the deal unique. Judges evaluated deals based on the parties’ submissions as well as the overall story, economic and strategic impact, stakeholder value and professional expertise.

The finalists have been reviewed and ranked by ACG Houston’s independent panel of esteemed judges and top business leaders. The winners of each category will be announced at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the River Oaks Country Club in Houston.
