Every quarter we award a team at Ranger who has gone above and beyond to exemplify our Core Values. This past quarter we are proud to announce our first-ever individual Positive Energy Belt Award to Josh Dardar, Division Manager in East Texas.
Many individuals and teams went above and beyond through the Basic Energy Services asset acquisition and on-boarding of employees. Before the acquisition was finalized, Josh stopped by a Basic rig to introduce himself to the crew. He discussed various topics with the crew during his visit, and a safety issue was brought to his attention. After leaving the site, Josh could not stop worrying about the crew’s safety. He went back to the site, making sure the necessary adjustments were made to make the worksite safe for the workers, even though in doing so, he would be helping at that time a competitor at great expense to his own operations.
Based on this demonstration of our Core Values and Josh’s selfless decision to not leave people in imminent danger, we recognize Josh and award him the first-ever individual Positive Energy Belt Award.
