Pleasanton crews are incident free for nearly three years

In 2020, Rig Crew 8552 and Rig Crew 1796 had their rigs laid down as the COVID-19 pandemic shut down entire cities. A year later, the crews returned to their rigs ready to get back to work.

Now, the dedicated crew is approaching a three-year mark for incident free days.

“With their hard work and dedication to Safety, they have accomplished something that is very difficult in our industry,” said Kevin Gibson, EagleFord Division Manager for South Rigs.

“As of March 7, 2023, the crews have been OSHA free for 1,059 working days,” Gibson said.

Gibson said the crews, who have been with ConocoPhillips since 2019, are 36 days away from reaching a challenging safety milestone.

Congratulations to Rig Crew 8552 and Rig Crew 1796 for their hard work and dedication to Safety!
