Last year Ranger made a major commitment to our ESG initiatives through our Rig Recycling Impact Program, focusing on our environmental stewardship. This past quarter Ranger has focused on the Social component of our ESG initiatives. Through fundraisers and events, we have invested in various programs to benefit the communities where we work.

We would like to take some time to highlight a few of these initiatives we are proud to be a part of:

In April, Ranger had the pleasure of cooking at the Daniels Energy Partners BBQ Fundraiser for the Bynum School staff, kids, parents, friends and family in Midland, TX.

This fundraiser was a fun event for an inspiring cause. The Bynum School provides a safe and productive learning environment for individuals with special needs in the Midland and Odessa area. They provide personalized educational programs to meet the academic, behavioral, and vocational needs of individuals of all ages with special needs. Read the full article here.

In May, we were honored at the Cristo Rey Jesuit College Prep School in Houston for supporting their mission for the past ten years. Read the full article here.

The mission of Cristo Rey Jesuit is to inspire and prepare students with limited economic resources to succeed in college and lead their communities as compassionate, committed, and competent men and women for others for the greater glory of God.

Also, in May, we sponsored the Conoco Phillips United Way Golf Tournament.

The ConocoPhillips United Way Golf Tournament is the largest fundraising event for the company’s United Way campaign, which has contributed nearly $78.7 million to the United Way of Greater Houston over the past 32 years, according to the event’s website.

Together, we achieved a new event fundraising record of $300,000 for our community from 50 different sponsors.

These funds will be used by the United Way to improve the lives of more than 2 million of our neighbors.
